HELP

My dogs ear is bulging and the vet is telling us it is nothing but they'll be happy to remove it for $500. we already paid them $400 for the check up and ear medication for the other ear. If you know anyone who knows what this is and any vets in Colorado who would be more capable of diagnosing it please let me know, The picture is posted in my page
